This is the first of several monthly content updates for Shot & Splinters, first focusing on the hexes and encounters in Dalglish's Gazetteer and then moving onto fleshing out Midshipman Goodacre’s Primer. 

This month, I've added a new naval encounter table, containing 12 new ships of various kinds, each one presenting a unique challenge to your players. Maybe you'll stumble across the Arkhangel Mikhail, a Russian merchant ship captained by a man with a strange lunar affliction. Or you might encounter the Neptune, a fast packet boat carrying a French spy to America in the hope of dragging the United States into the war.

Next month I'll be updating the Gazetteer with more hexes to explore. We're heading to the mainland, exploring the Departments of Loire-Inferieure and the Vendee.
